Senior Pastors
Jason Murray
Jason has served on staff for three years, overseeing behind-the-scenes operations and supporting the pastoral staff and leadership team. Driven by a passion for simply loving people, Jason brings heart and leadership to his role. Originally from Bristol, he has been married to his wife, Angie, for over 30 years. They have two sons, Micah and Caleb (married to Rachel and Peyton), and three grandchildren—Mya, Felicity, and Oliver. Outside of ministry, Jason enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and woodworking.
Favorite Scripture: Psalm 91:3 — "Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler..." (and Proverbs 4:23 — "Above all else, guard your heart...")
Comfort Food: Roast Beef & Angie's Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies
Fun Facts: He loves reading classic Charles Dickens novels, enjoys DIY construction projects, and spent a favorite vacation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica!
Associate Pastor
Caleb & Peyton Murray
Peyton has been part of the church family since 2014 and joined the staff team in August 2024. She handles media, graphics, and event planning, while partnering with her husband in youth ministry to mentor students and lead youth services. A Bristol native, Peyton is passionate about walking alongside students to help them realize their identity in Christ. Outside of ministry, she runs a pop-up coffee business called Second Cup, enjoys song writing, painting, and golfing. Peyton and her husband have been married for four years and have two children, Mya Blake and Ollie Drew, along with their dog, Diggs.
Favorite Scripture: Psalm 40:2 — "He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along."
Comfort Food: Japanese clear soup
Fun Facts: She considers herself a master thrift shopper, has notebooks full of nearly finished original songs, and loves making coffee for friends at home!
Matt Humphrey
Worship PastorMatt has been part of the church family for nearly 30 years and has served as Worship Pastor for several years. Day-to-day, he leads the worship team, shepherds their hearts, and creates space for the Holy Spirit during weekly worship. Originally from nearby Bristol, VA, Matt was drawn to ministry through the calling God has placed on his life and the spiritual guidance of leaders. Matt and his wife, Lisa, have been married for 20 years and have two daughters, Sophie and Chloe.
Favorite Scripture: Romans 12:2 — "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind..."
Comfort Food: Smashburgers
Fun Facts: Hearing the congregation sing brings him pure joy! In his downtime, he loves watching movies, learning new skills, tackling construction projects, and has Hawaii at the top of his travel bucket list.
Iglesia de la Gracia PastorsSamuel & Roxanna Cardoso
Pastor Samuel and Roxanna have been with Grace Point for over 7 years. They have missional heart to serve cultures in the Tri-Cities and beyond.
Originally from South America, they have two Children, Matthew and Nayeli, and lead the Multi-Cultural congregation, Iglesia de la Gracia.
Grace Point is blessed to have them on their team!
Youth Pastors*Peyton: Creative Pastor, Dance Team Coach
Caleb’s bio is boring, but he loves God, Peyton along with their 2 Children, Mya and Ollie Drew. Caleb has a drive to cultivate Revival in the next Generation of Leaders through prayer, worship, and service.
Rachel Murray
Treasurer & SecretaryRachel has been part of the church family for nine years and on staff for four. She keeps day-to-day operations running smoothly—handling finances, facility scheduling, and equipping every ministry with the resources they need. Raised in a ministry family, Rachel loves putting her organizational skills to work for the Kingdom. Originally from Richmond, VA, she enjoys thrifting, organizing, and playing video games with her husband, Micah. Together they have a two-year-old daughter, Felicity, and a German Shepherd named Ace.
Favorite Scripture: Esther 4:14 — "...And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"
Comfort Food: Her mom’s Shepherd’s Pie (and French fries!)
Fun Facts: Playing video games with her husband is her favorite pastime, and her dream vacation destination is Disney World (which she’s been several times already)!
